Posted on March 1, 2005

noWYR, a western Washington Internet carrier, announced today that Enumclaw and the surrounding area can now subscribe to innexpensive, high-speed broadband Internet access. "If you can see the top of Grass Mountain, you can probably subscribe to this service." said a spokesman for the company.

The new noWYR installation provides service to:

  • Alderton
  • Berrydale
  • Black Diamond
  • Boise
  • Bonney Lake
  • Buckley
  • Carbonado
  • Cedar Grove (City of)?
  • Dieringer
  • Enumclaw
  • Green River
  • Hobart
  • Kummer
  • McMillin?
  • Meridian Heights
  • Newaukum
  • Orting?
  • Dieringer
  • Prairie Ridge
  • South Prairie
  • Summit
  • Covington
  • Wabash

In general, if you are within 20 miles of our transmitter and we can mount one of our modems so that it can "see" the top of the mountain, you can probably receive service. If there are just a few trees in the area, you might still be able to receive this service.

noWYR offers: DSL equivalents from 256 Kbps - 1.5 Mbps, T1 line replacements, VoIP. Faster speeds are available.
