Broadband Comes to Graham, Washington
Posted on Feb 21, 2005

noWYR, a western Washington Internet carrier, announced today that Graham and the surrounding area can now subscribe to innexpensive, high-speed broadband Internet access. "If you can see our tower at Hwy 161 and 251st St. E., you can probably subscribe to this service." said a spokesman for the company.

The new noWYR installation provides service to:

  • Bonney Lake
  • Custer
  • Eatonville
  • Graham
  • LaGrand
  • Lakeview
  • Lakewood
  • McChord AFB
  • McKenna
  • Midland
  • Ohop (north)
  • Parkland
  • Roy
  • South Hill
  • Spanaway
  • Wilkeson (north)

In general, if you are within 15 miles of their access point and they can mount one of their modems so that it can "see" the tower, potential subcribers can probably receive service.

noWYR offers: DSL equivalents from 256 Kbps - 1.5 Mbps, T1 line replacements, VoIP. Faster speeds are available.

Where is the Graham tower?
Service plans from 128Kbps to 5 Mbps are available.
